Inspired by the wildlife that moves through the Sierra Nevada Foothills where I live, and by a monthly full moonrise viewing tradition shared with a close friend, this California Sierra Wildlife calendar reflects my connection to the land around me. The artwork brings together a California mid century modern look with the simple graphic style of Eastern European matchbox prints, using warm earthy colors drawn from the landscape outside my home and studio.
