Oval Night Owl Platter

Hand built stoneware plate decorated using hand cut stencils, newsprint transfers, and etchings. All the images are my own, drawn then carefully hand cut into a stencil. A clear glaze covers the entire piece except where the clay is exposed. The foot of the platter includes pierced holes on either side so that a wire can be strung through without impeding the foot of the plate when it's laying on a flat surface. 

The platter is meant to be displayed as an art piece.
