Block Printed Clay Tiles
Come join Diana Fayt for an evening carving rubber blocks to use on clay tiles. During the workshop, you will learn how carve a rubber block, using linocut tools and then use it to stamp flat clay surfaces. You will come away from the workshop having learned new techniques, basic ceramic terminology, and your very own tile. This is a fun, no pressure workshop. All levels welcome!
With the exceptionally long, light filled, summer evenings in Portland, we thought it would be fun to mix things up and host a mid-week evening workshop! Light snacks and beverages will be provided. You are also welcome to bring something to share.
*Because of the preparation needed in advance for this workshop no refunds will be given for student cancelations.
Included in the class is use of tools, materials + one firing.
Space is limited to 8 participants
